Thanks for visiting.  I hope you enjoy what you see.

I have been into photography since 1964.  I know, I know, you’d think I’d be a lot better at it by now.  My dad was an avid photographer.  He had a makeshift darkroom in our basement with a huge, black enlarger that looked like a creature from outer space.  As a kid I was too scared to go in there with the lights out….kind of defeated the purpose.  Eventually, I developed my own prints.

One of the things I discovered about photography is that there is a lot of luck involved.  No matter how good your eye might be or how expensive your equipment is, you have to be at the right place at the right time.  Even with today’s cell phone cameras, it still takes a good deal of luck to get that great shot.  Catching a sunset with great cloud formations; the ocean’s waves breaking over rocks; the lion at the zoo with the gaping yawn; a toddler’s first steps or Aunt Minnie backing up into Uncle Waldo's new car.  How many times have we said, “I wish I had my camera with me.”

This site will have just a few samples of shots I've taken in Arizona, Florida, the Midwest, Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest, New York, Canada, parts of Europe and a few shots from here and there of this and that.  All are available for purchase as prints or framed pictures.

I know I have been fortunate to have travelled some.  But lucky?  Well, I'll let you decide.....
